meta tag

Hi All,

Is it possible to use the file -> properties -> meta tags functionality to generate a meta tag on a page like <META NAME="CATEGORIE" content="PRODUCTINFO"/>

According to the api http://connect.gxsoftware.com/api/webmanager/javadoc/nl/gx/webmanager/cms/core/MetaTag.html i think it should be possible but the documentation isn't really clear about this topic...

Any ideas?

Hi,

What you get back when you call PageVersion.getMetaTags() is comprised of:
- 'keywords' as set for the website as a whole unless overruled on page level
- 'description' is derived from the first text element on that page
- 'robots' is derived form the switch about indexing on that page

So you can't use that mechanism to add your 'CATEGORIE', What you could do is add a page metadata wcb that basically container a name/value pair (like 'CATEGORIE'/'PRODUCTINFO'). You can access that data from your jsp and print it as what you like...
